In memory of the 12 million innocent victims.

We will never forget

12 million people perished under Hitler and his Nazis. They were shot, gassed, tortured, beaten, humiliated, and treated as laboratory rats for the sole reason that they were different.

To the left is a picture of the women's barracks. Living conditions in the barracks were unimaginable. 6-8 people were forced to share a single bunk. The unlucky ones were forced to sleep on the ground under the bunk in puddles of mud and human excrement.

The picture on the right is a gas chamber
as it appears today located in Krema I in Auschwitz. Millions of people were forced into rooms like this, knowing it would be the last room they'd ever see.

How could we let it happen? Why did we deliberately turn away?
The United States sent shiploads of Jews back to Germany!

If this ever happened to your people, would you want everyone else to look the other way? I don't think so.

"They came for the communists, and I did not speak up because I wasn't a communist;

They came for the gypsies, and I did not speak up because I was not a gypsy;

They came for the catholics, and I did not speak up because I was a protestant;

They came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak up for me."

Martin Niemoller, 1892-1984

We must learn from the past so that such horror will never happen again.
