Dying Sun

Dying sun is where I dream
In heaven, on earth, and in between
To have a wisdom deep within
To know the secrets from me hid
To have content and peace in life
To escape from a world of tears and strife
I'd awake each morning to kiss the rays
With sunshine and warmth to fill the days
A friend would fill every empty space
But only the best for that special place
And I would have my every desire
I'd play with ice and dance with fire
Laughter and music would fill my ears
And my eyes wouldn't know the meaning of tears
This place is called my dying sun
It leaves just when the day's begun
This sun rises as night descends
Yet in my dreams it never ends
As discontent begins to come
I reach out to my dying sun
